What an Indian should do?
Recently Priya Ramani wrote an article, on which she explained why she don’t like to be an Indian. Many people started to hate her after reading that article. I liked the main idea behind the article. However, I did not like what she wrote about Lord Ram. My view is, if you don’t believe in Ramayana, as true, then no need to treat it as true. Just treat it as an novel or story. You are writing a good article, and in excitement or intentionally, you should not write something which may hurt someone’s religious views. Whatever be the religion, you should not criticize the religion like this, with some baseless comment. However, you should point out what’s wrong to humankind in that religion.
I always say “I proud to be an Indian”, “I love my India” etc. I don’t find enough reason to justify what I say. My question to those people, who ask why should they proud to be an Indian or why should they love India: “Do you find reasons to love your mother?”. So no need to find any reasons to justify your love to your nation. In this post I will focus on some points which an (or every) Indian should. If people will follow these rules, then a day will come, those people who think they should not be an Indian will feel ashamed.
Mosquitoes, Integral Part of Indian Life
In your opinion, which one is the biggest problem, in this world, or in your country? There are quite good options to answer. Global Warming, Terrorism, War, Lack of drinking water, Lack of education, Deficit of fuels for the future, Maoists, and Mosquitoes. You must be thinking, how Mosquitoes made an entry in the list of biggest threats to World? Don’t surprise, they are really a great threat. One night, while I was sleeping and it was around 4.30 AM, mosquitoes attacked me severely, and I could not sleep. And I started planning how to start war against Mosquitosm. Suddenly one mosquito entered into one of my nasal holes and I felt severe pain of sneezing, while I am sleeping. I also surprised how she (yes, that was a female one, because male mosquitoes don’t eat human blood) came to know what was in my mind and suddenly started attacking me!
Phir Dil Do Hockey Ko
Few days before, I saw Virender Sehwag saying something on a tv commercial. He was saying that, he was not playing this time and will join as a spectator. I thought what happened to him? Why he is saying like Sourav Ganguly said in an ad when he was out of Indian team (remember that Hoo Haa India ad?). Then I came to know that he is promoting Hockey World Cup for Hero Honda. After that Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Priyanka Chopra followed with their versions. I also said, “it’s Hero Honda ad, not Hockey ad”. I was simply wrong. While people were going to forget hockey with popularity of cricket, this promotion worked really well. And many Indian watched first match of India in Hero Honda FIH World Cup 2010, Delhi against Pakistan. And the stadium was full of supporters, were cheering Indian team by blowing whistles and saying “Chak de India”.
PayPal India Woos – the eye opener
Recently PayPal India started reversing all personal payments and after few days started reversing the withdrawal process. And since few days some popular blogs and news websites are showing that similar boring news with no information on this. Some blogs also added some email messages to their blog to make that look good. Recently PayPal blog updated with some information and this gives bit relaxation. Here I will not talk stupid, will provide you some info and some tricks to save money by using alternate services to PayPal.
Rocking Tees in India
It’s around a year back, for the first time when I visited Threadless – a great tees website (or you can call it as online shop). One day I came to know about Twitter Tees (If you wonder what’s Twitter Tees, then I must say “It’s a project by Threadless where they print tweets highly voted by the community and sell for $18″). There are thousands apps are built on Twitter, and Twitter Tees is also one from the good ones. So, from here I came to know about this. I impressed by the great design of the website, the quality of the designs they print on the tshirts (which seems to be a good quality tshirt from the photo) and they way the show their tees – a guy or girl wearing the tee and a great photo!
