Rocking Tees in India

It’s around a year back, for the first time when I visited Threadless – a great tees website (or you can call it as online shop). One day I came to know about Twitter Tees (If you wonder what’s Twitter Tees, then I must say “It’s a project by Threadless where they print tweets highly voted by the community and sell for $18″). There are thousands apps are built on Twitter, and Twitter Tees is also one from the good ones. So, from here I came to know about this. I impressed by the great design of the website, the quality of the designs they print on the tshirts (which seems to be a good quality tshirt from the photo) and they way the show their tees – a guy or girl wearing the tee and a great photo!

Why divide Internet by religion?

Today I came to know about a website, which says it’s a search engine for Muslims. It says that ImHalal.com is search engine designed for Muslims to be able to continue their online activities in a safe and clean environment. It normally does not do what they said. It simply blocks some English words and does not show result for that. Some English words come with a warning but you can see the results. If you search for a porn site, you can see it in the result. Then how can it be a clean search engine? Why do someone need a search engine, which is designed only for Muslims? They can use any other search engine with safety filter on. Or if they think that there is no other search engine with a safety filter, they could create a safe search engine, which can target anyone of any religion. They are doing nothing but dividing Internet and the World by the name of the religion. They are no different from the people who start a war or a riot by the name of religion.

Framebar and the problem

Few months back, Digg introduced a product called DiggBar and there was a lot of hungama (buzz) around the world wild web. If you wonder what’s a framebar, then let me describe that in some simple words. Framebar is a webpage with a toolbar looking area at the top and a iframe in which a website is displayed. If you understand what DiggBar is then that’s a perfect example of framebar. Other major examples of framebars are: Google Search Cached Page, Google Image Search result, Google Translate, StumbleUpon framebar, AddThis framebar etc. While doing some reasearch regarding these framebars, I found that facebook was using its framebar sometimes back. Well I am not going to talk about sharing search engine juice with these framebars, I am going to talk about how these framebars create navigational problem sometimes.
